Move beyond the Arabian Nights with these folktales drawn from around the Arab World. Stories include tales of the comic Djeha, who is either the wisest of fools or most foolish of wisemen; excerpts from the adventures of Bani Hilal; tales of Sufi wisdom and wonder; and many more. This program can be aimed towards middle and high school students, adults, or mixed audiences. It can also include discussion of the contemporary Arab World.

Take a journey around the world through stories! These enchanting folktales provide a window into different cultures and remind us that however different we may seem, we are all unified through our love of a good tale. This program is appropriate for elementary school students, middle school students, or families.

Women To Talk About

Come meet these heroines from around the world who use wit, wisdom, magic, and perseverance to create their own happily ever afters. You'll leave having no doubt that these girls, maidens, and crones are all women worth talking about! This program can be aimed for all ages and is particularly appropriate for Women's History Month.
